During the summer, the Dillon Quirke foundation came to the club for three days and with the help of a number of parents, the club facilitated cardiac screening by Dillon Quirke foundation. Over 100 children between the ages of 12 – 18 were screened free of charge. The club encouraged parents to make contributions to the foundation as a gesture of goodwill to enable the foundation continue with the work that they do nationwide. The Club collected over €1500. We were the first GAA Club in the country that the foundation spent three full days with !!
